UNIT 4:ENGLISH GLOSSARY

Hi everyone! Here is the vocabulary related with UNIT 4:LIVE WELL

TO CHEER UP: To make someone feel happier.

TO WORK OUT:  To exercise in order to get fit.

TO CALM DOWN: To stop feeling upset, angry or excited or to stop someone feeling this way.

TO SLOW DOWN: To be less active and relax more.

TO CUT DOWN ON: To reduce the amount of something.

TO CHILL OUT: To be completely relaxed.

TO OPEN UP TO: To start to talk more about yourself and your feelings.

TO FACE UP TO: To accept that a difficult situation exists.

GRUMPY: Easily annoyed and complaining, in a bad mood.

CHEERFUL: Happy and positive.

DYNAMIC: Energetic, active and ready to do lots of things.

ANXIOUS: Worried and nervous.

SLEEPY: Tired and wanting to sleep.
